DSP Compute

The IRIS DSP DPA Compute board is based on the low power Cyclone FPGA from ALTERA corp. and High Performance DSPs GHz from Texas Instrument. The board contains 2 Cyclone II EP2C70 FPGA providing a user 140,000 LE to work with and Two TI TMS320C6416 DSPs running at 1 GHz each.  Each of the DSP processors has 512 KB of SRAM and the board also contains 1 GB of DDRII DRAM SODIMM. The board can be used Stand Alone or in a System with a PCI Express x4 slot that takes in long boards. For stand alone and stacked use an ATX power connector is provided. The kit contains

  • A C2704T6416-22 Board
  • TI Code Composer Studio Eval copy
  • A PCIe x4 Core, Windows PCIe driver, API and DLLs
  • Altera Quartus II software, USB Programming Cable
  • Jungo Driver Development Kit (DDK) Eval copy
  • User Guide for the board
  • MATLAB Evaluation copy
