Cyclone Compute Board
IRIS Cyclone compute board is meant for use in applications such as:
- Hardware in Loop (HIL) Simulation/Emulation
- Co-Processing
- Processor and system Emulation/Simulation
- Algorithm acceleration
The IRIS Cyclone-Compute board has the following features:
- 4 Altera Cyclone II EP2C70 devices with a total of 280,000 user LE
- Can accommodate designs of up to 4 million ASIC gates
- PCI Express x4 host interface
- 2 GB of DDR II SODIMM memory standard expandable to 4 GB
- 10 Gpbs I/O between FPGAs (Parallel I/O and LVDS)
- ATX power connector for stand alone use
- Can be stacked, used stand alone or in a system with x4 PCI express
- Can be programmed with Altera Web Edition Free Tools
- Self contained kit with software, cables, drivers and programming tools
- Jungo Win-driver DDK evaluation software
IRIS provides customization services and design services on our range of PCI Express cards and systems. Customers will have access to IRIS and 3rd party IP library in the near future for use with IRIS boards
